With a career spanning several decades, Turid is a world renowned expert on dog communication and welfare. She is devoted to educating future generations of trainers and behaviourists, and is the author of several popular books.
Sarina Kriechbaum-Young
Chair
Sarina is based in Austria and has been working with dogs since 2014, the year she completed the IDTE in Vienna with Anne Lill Kvam. She is also an English teacher for adults. Sarina has a dog school called "Sky Dogs" in Austria (near Graz) where she specializes in nosework for dogs. She is passionate about teaching, animal welfare, and learning about dog language and natural behaviour.
Katja Werner
Secretary
After completing the IDTE with Turid Rugaas, Katja has been working as a dog trainer in the QimmiQ Lodge (www.qimmiq-lodge.de) in Germany with dogs and their owners since 2015. In addition to individual and tracking training, she works in the dog day care centre with fixed dog groups. In her second life, she is a scheduler in a film and television production company.
Peter Botsch
Treasurer
Peter is based in southern Germany and graduated and works as a Dipl.-Ing. in mechanics. He has completed several courses with experts such as Turid Rugaas and Anne Lill Kvam about canine behaviour and health. He is passionate about nose work and works as a freelancer at Dogcom in Bad Wimpfen.
Patrick Visser

Patrick has been working with horses and behavior for 15 years. Since 2017 he has completed courses with Turid Rugaas and Anne Lill Kvam. His passion is working with dogs and behaviour, nose work with dogs and the development of dog sensory gardens.
Anne Lill Kvam
Board Member
Anne Lill lives in a house in the forest in Norway, together with Tyra, her adolescent Icelandic sheepdog. Anne Lill was educated by Turid Rugaas in 1995, and has worked world wide alone and together with Turid in giving
seminars, courses, speeches, IDTE's since 1996. Her deepest interest is in all kinds of sense work, and around dogs' emotions, and then consequently in stress and aggression. She is strongly dedicated to educate new dog trainers
in the world, who will follow PDTE's strict Code of Ethics.
