We have three levels of membership to suit a variety of needs and skills.

Friend
Friends are welcomed into the wider PDTE community to connect, learn and support ethical practice.
Entry:

Access is activated upon receipt of the fee
Access includes:

Associate
Associate Members share a passion for understanding dogs and are committed to ongoing learning, growth and ethical practice within the PDTE community.
Entry:

Completion of an application process demonstrating practical competence, including:

one case study
-
video material
-
Applications are reviewed by the Board

Upon acceptance and payment of the membership fee, Associate Membership is confirmed
Access includes:
-
Access to the online Members’ Area and community spaces
-
Access to monthly Q&A sessions
-
Access to selected webinars
-
Monthly email newsletter
-
Discount to the Annual Conference, AGM and selected events
-
May opt to be listed on the PDTE trainers’ map and directory
-
May use the appropriate PDTE logo
-
May submit articles and events for sharing within the community

May contribute to PDTE learning activities (e.g. webinars or Q&A sessions)

Participation in PDTE education programmes, as required
Development:

Community mentoring may be required as part of the acceptance process to support alignment with the PDTE Code of Ethics

Full
Full Members are valued members who champion the values of the PDTE, bringing experience, knowledge and an ongoing commitment to supporting others.
Entry:
• Available to existing Associate Members
• Completion of an application confirming:
• professional work with dogs
• active and engaged involvement within the PDTE community
• Applications are reviewed by the Board
• Upon acceptance, membership status is updated to Full Member
Access includes:
• Access to the online Members’ Area and community spaces
• Access to selected webinars
• Access to monthly Q&A sessions
• Monthly email newsletter
• Discount to the Annual Conference, AGM and selected events
• May opt to be listed on the PDTE trainers’ map and directory
• May use the appropriate PDTE logo
• Are encouraged to submit articles and events for sharing within the community
• Are encouraged to contribute to PDTE learning activities (e.g. webinars or Q&A sessions)
• Participation in PDTE education programmes, as required
Contribution:
Full Members contribute to the PDTE community and support its development in a number of ways.
• May act as mentors within the mentoring programme
• May take on roles supporting the organisation, including Election coordinator, Country Representative, CR Manager …
All such roles are subject to Board approval.
